The Facts:
- 12 of 13 towns want local control, but the county board is ignoring them.
- Wisconsin will lose 500,000+ acres of farmland by 2040 — even before counting solar projects.
- These projects are backed by out-of-state special interests, not local farmers.
- According to Reuters, commercial scale renewable projects “risk damaging some of America’s richest soils in key farming states.”
